About Me
Hello, my name is Kevin Lawson.
I enjoy drawing, but for a long time, it was just a hobby without any clear direction. However, working in a nursery helped me to find a purpose for my drawings. I started working with a friend, and she is the reason I am where I am today. I like bright colourful rounded characters (kinda like cartoon style but more leaning towards anime).
The Mission.
Our mission is to show children that they can be anything they want to be. We want to help them develop their skills and be confident in pursuing their passions. Children who are interested in art often look for perfect drawings, and sometimes they feel discouraged when their own creations don't look the way they want them to. I want my books to inspire children to explore their creativity and have fun with art and crafts without worrying about making mistakes.
What books are out now?
Currently, I have five books available on the Amazon book program (KDP) and two on Apple Books. I had the idea of creating interactive books for the iPad, but it turned out to be quite challenging and time-consuming for one person. While I would like to continue this project, it is not a priority right now.

Art Exhibition at Harris Primary School
I attended an art exhibition at Harris Primary School on March 23rd, following my second Art Week workshop there earlier this year.
The gallery was full of fantastic pieces from all the children.
I also connected with fellow workshop artists Naturemakers_eastdulwich, theartsfactory, and byvivi.co. It was a great experience, and once again, thank you Naturemakers_eastdulwich and Harris Primary School.

new projects!
I have been working on three new projects, the projects are apps, mobile apps. A colour pallet for iPad and iPhone, A wallpaper app for my wallpaper packs and a match 3 game (the working tittle is called Doodle Match). I've working on these using Xcode on the Mac. Two of them are just about ready to be sent to the App store (apparently it's a long process, but well will see, I hope to release them by June), the game will have a lot of work needed for it to be finished (hoping for a October release). Look out for more information in next months newsletter.
